Flex programming - Future of Websites

Flex Technology
Flex Technology
If you are a web developer or web programmer then you must know what is flex and who uses flex technology. This technology is not new but I challenge flex technology is going to be used by every web based software companies in the coming years. Let us start the basics of flex.
Flex is a highly productive, free, open source framework for building expressive web applications that deploy consistently on all major browsers, desktops, and operating systems by leveraging the Adobe® Flash® Player and Adobe AIR® runtimes.
Adobe Flex is a software development kit (SDK) released by Adobe Systems for the development and deployment of cross-platform rich Internet applications based on the Adobe Flash platform. Flex applications can be written using Adobe Flash Builder or by using the freely available Flex compiler from Adobe.

Flex Developers and Programmers
Traditional application programmers found it challenging to adapt to the animation metaphor upon which the Flash Platform was originally designed. Flex seeks to minimize this problem by providing a workflow and programming model that is familiar to these developers.

Advantages of Flex
The main advantage of flex in the future is that it building engaging, cross-platform for rich Internet applications that are really going to be a need of every web application software.
Flex applications provide a stateful client where significant changes to the view don't require loading a new page. Similarly, Flex and Flash Player provide many useful ways to send and load data to and from server-side components without requiring the client to reload the view. Though this functionality offered advantages over HTML and JavaScript development in the past, the increased support for XMLHttpRequest in major browsers has made asynchronous data loading a common practice in HTML-based development as well.
